1. Overview
This Refund & Cancellation Policy describes the terms under which you may request refunds for purchases made through Photogala. All payments are processed by Paddle.com (Paddle), who acts as the Merchant of Record for all transactions.
2. Merchant of Record
Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all purchases made on Photogala. This means:
- Paddle processes all payments and handles billing
- Your invoice and receipts come from Paddle
- Refund requests are processed through Paddle
- Paddle's Buyer Terms apply to your purchase

3. 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee
We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on all initial subscription purchases. If you are not satisfied with the service for any reason, you may request a full refund within 30 days of your initial purchase. This guarantee applies to first-time purchases only and does not apply to subscription renewals.
This guarantee is a voluntary commercial offer and is separate from any statutory consumer rights, including the EU right of withdrawal described in Section 7.
4. Subscription Refunds
For subscription services, refunds are handled according to Paddle's Buyer Terms:
- All refund requests are processed through Paddle
- Paddle reserves the right to refuse refunds in cases of abuse or fraud
5. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund:

- Or contact Paddle directly through the receipt email you received
- Include your email address and order number
- Optionally provide a reason (helps us improve)
Refunds are typically processed within 5-10 business days. The actual time for the refund to appear in your account depends on your payment method and financial institution.
6. Subscription Cancellation
As per Paddle's Buyer Terms, you can cancel your subscription at any time:
- Cancel through your account settings on Photogala
- Or through the subscription management link in your Paddle receipt
- To ensure your cancellation is processed before the next billing cycle, please cancel at least 48 hours before the end of your current billing period
- After cancellation, you retain access until the end of your current billing period
- No further charges will be made after cancellation
- After the 30-day money-back guarantee period, there are no pro-rata refunds for unused subscription periods. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
7. Right of Withdrawal (EU/EEA Consumers)
If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA, you have the following statutory rights:
- You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days of purchase without giving any reason.
- By purchasing a subscription, you expressly consent to the immediate provision of the service and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once the service has been fully provided during the withdrawal period.
- To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us by an unequivocal statement (e.g., email to [email protected]) before the withdrawal period expires.
- For subscription services, the right of withdrawal applies only to the initial subscription purchase, not to automatic renewals.
- Your statutory right of withdrawal is separate from our 30-day money-back guarantee in Section 3. During the first 14 days, both may apply simultaneously. From day 15 to 30, only the commercial guarantee applies.
8. Complaints Procedure
If you have a complaint about our service:

- We aim to acknowledge complaints within 2 business days
- We aim to resolve complaints within 14 business days
- Complex issues may take longer; we will keep you informed of progress
- If you are not satisfied with our response, you may escalate your complaint to the appropriate consumer protection authority in your jurisdiction.

9. Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to modify this Refund & Cancellation Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services after any changes indicates your acceptance of the modified policy.
