This Refund & Cancellation Policy describes the terms under which you may request refunds for purchases made through Photogala. All payments are processed by Paddle.com (Paddle), who acts as the Merchant of Record for all transactions.
2. Merchant of Record
Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all purchases made on Photogala. This means:
- Paddle processes all payments and handles billing
- Your invoice and receipts come from Paddle
- Refund requests are processed through Paddle
- Paddle's Buyer Terms apply to your purchase

3. Money-Back Guarantee
We stand behind our service. If you're not satisfied with your purchase, you can request a refund through Paddle. We commit to supporting refund requests made in good faith.
4. Subscription Refunds
For subscription services, refunds are handled according to Paddle's Buyer Terms:
- All refund requests are processed through Paddle
- Paddle reserves the right to refuse refunds in cases of abuse or fraud
5. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund:
- Email us at support@photogala.net with your order details
- Or contact Paddle directly through the receipt email you received
- Include your email address and order number
- Optionally provide a reason (helps us improve)
Refunds are typically processed within 5-10 business days. The actual time for the refund to appear in your account depends on your payment method and financial institution.
6. Subscription Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time:
- Cancel through your account settings on Photogala
- Or through the subscription management link in your Paddle receipt
- To ensure your cancellation is processed before the next billing cycle, please cancel at least 48 hours before the end of your current billing period
- After cancellation, you retain access until the end of your current billing period
- No further charges will be made after cancellation
- As per Paddle's terms, there are no refunds on unused subscription periods
7. Digital Content & Right of Withdrawal
As per Paddle's Buyer Terms and EU consumer law:
- By purchasing, you consent to immediate performance and acknowledge that digital content and services are made available immediately
- You acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once the download or transmission of digital content has begun
- If you are a consumer, you have the right to cancel within 14 days without giving any reason, unless the digital content exception applies
- For subscription services, the 14-day right of withdrawal applies only to the initial subscription purchase, not to automatic renewals
8. Complaints Procedure
If you have a complaint about our service:
- Email us at support@photogala.net with details of your complaint
- We aim to acknowledge complaints within 2 business days
- We aim to resolve complaints within 14 business days
- Complex issues may take longer; we will keep you informed of progress
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may escalate your complaint to the appropriate consumer protection authority in your jurisdiction.

9. Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to modify this Refund & Cancellation Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services after any changes indicates your acceptance of the modified policy.
