Every party has that moment when somebody walks up to the booth mid-transition to request a song. Half the requests get lost and the other half arrive three times.

With digital music requests, guests send their song from wherever they are standing. The list shows the newest requests at the top, and new ones appear live. On the DJ's own device this works with the moderator role, available from the Premium plan.

The DJ still decides what to play and when. Each guest can send a limited number of wishes, and anything that does not fit the evening can be removed from the list.

Music request questions

1Does the DJ have to play every request?
No. The list collects the requests — what actually gets played is still the DJ's call.
2Do guests need an app?
No. The QR code opens a web page where they enter their request.
3Can I rule certain songs out?
There is no block list. You see every request and decide for yourself what gets played.
4Can guests see each other's requests?
No. Guests only see their own requests. The full list is visible to you and everyone with moderation rights. If the DJ should see it on their own device, give them the moderator role — custom roles are available from the Premium plan.
5Does it work without a DJ?
Yes. The collected requests also work as a starting point for your own playlist for the evening.
6Can I collect requests in advance?
Yes. Switch the tool on before the event so the requests come in on time. For the DJ to see the list on their own device, they need the moderator role (from Premium) — otherwise you show it to them on your device.
7Does it cost extra?
No. Like the other planning tools, music requests are included with every event.
8Can requests be anonymous?
Yes, always. Guests enter their name themselves — if they leave the field empty, the request shows up as “Anonymous”.
