Why one code per event is not enough
The usual approach is a single QR code for the whole event. The guest scans, lands on an overview and hunts for the seating plan. On a place card that is absurd — there you know exactly what the guest wants right now.
So on Photogala every tool has its own link and therefore its own code. The code on the dinner table opens the menu. The one on the place card shows the table. The one at the entrance leads into the gallery.
The codes are built to last: they point at a fixed identifier rather than at a name. Rename the event later and the printed poster keeps working.

Uploader Definition: All guests who upload at least one photo or video count as uploaders. Unlimited guests can still view the gallery.
Fair Use Storage: Storage is sized for normal event usage. Reach out if you need unusually large galleries.
After expiry: After the storage period the gallery is closed to guests; as the organizer you keep 30 days of ZIP-download access, then it is deleted.
