Why looking deserves its own view
A gallery grid is good for sorting: many small pictures side by side so you keep the overview. It is poor for looking — for that you want one image large, without borders and without controls around it.
The slideshow is that second view. Tap a photo and it fills the screen. Swiping moves to the next one without going back to the grid.

Uploader Definition: All guests who upload at least one photo or video count as uploaders. Unlimited guests can still view the gallery.
Fair Use Storage: Storage is sized for normal event usage. Reach out if you need unusually large galleries.
After expiry: After the storage period the gallery is closed to guests; as the organizer you keep 30 days of ZIP-download access, then it is deleted.
