Does this cost me anything as a guest?
No. Photogala is free for you as a guest. You are never asked for a payment method, there is no guest subscription and there are no hidden costs.
What you don’t pay for
Section titled “What you don’t pay for”- Viewing, liking and commenting — free.
- Uploading photos and videos — free.
- Downloading photos — free, as long as the host allowed downloads for their event.
- Tasks, points and tools such as the RSVP form, seating plan or menu — free.
There is only one place where money changes hands: the organizer picks a plan for their event. Everything you do in the gallery runs on that.
An account isn’t required
Section titled “An account isn’t required”You can join without registering — the route is called Enter as Guest. No email, no password.
An account is possible all the same (Sign In with Account) and also free. It’s worth it if you want to switch devices or take part in several events. The differences are described in As a guest or with an account.
What does actually cost you something
Section titled “What does actually cost you something”Your own mobile data. Uploading photos, and videos in particular, uses data like any other app. If you want to save data while you’re out, upload larger batches later on Wi-Fi.
Every limit belongs to the organizer
Section titled “Every limit belongs to the organizer”If an upload won’t go through, it is never down to your account but to the event’s limits — and those apply to all guests together. Details in How many photos can I upload?.
