How do I claim my prize?

Some events crown winners at the end. To do that the host freezes the standing at a set moment – from then on, later uploads, likes or deletions no longer change the result. If your name sits on a prize-winning place, you collect the prize with a short code.

On the Leaderboard – a menu item on a computer, the trophy icon on a phone. After the freeze it no longer shows the live ranking but the final result: a trophy at the top, the heading The final result is in, and below it Standing frozen on … with the date and time.

If you won, a highlighted card appears above the list reading You won! together with your placement.

Leaderboard with three markers: metric, your own rank, first place
The leaderboard while the event runs: 1 switch the metric, 2 your own rank with your point total, 3 first place in the list. Once frozen it reads “The final result is in” instead.
  1. Tap Collect prize on the card. A dialog opens with your placement as its heading.

  2. Inside sits a field Your name (optional). The name really is voluntary – fill it in so the hosts find you more easily, or simply leave it empty.

  3. Tap Show code. Your six-digit code now appears in large type in the format XXX-XXX, with the line Show this code to the hosts to collect your prize. above it.

  4. Close the dialog with Done and show the code at the prize table.

The host checks the code in their management area, which marks the prize as handed out. After that the dialog additionally reads This prize has already been handed out.

Verify code tab on the host side with a checked code and detail card
This is how your code is checked: the host types it in and ticks off the handover.
The host's reward list with winners and status
The host keeps their own list — your prize is in there even if you mislaid the code.

Nothing bad happens. The code belongs to your win and stays the same. Just open the leaderboard again – the button on your winner card now reads Show code and brings it straight back. So there is no need to write it down or keep a screenshot.

Nothing about the standing itself:

  • Later activity no longer counts, on any device.
  • On a tie, several guests share the same place. So more than one name can sit on place 1.
  • Everyone who didn’t win is still listed further down under Other places. The whole standing is frozen, not just the podium.
  • If the host crowned several rankings, you switch between them with the chips at the top. A winner card only appears in the rankings where you sit on a prize-winning place.
