Restoring deleted photos

Deleted a photo by accident? No need to worry – deleted photos aren’t gone right away. They first go to the recycle bin and can be restored within the retention window.

How the recycle bin works

• When a photo is deleted, it moves to the recycle bin rather than disappearing for good.
• It stays there for a set retention window.
• Within that time it can be restored and then reappears in the gallery.

Restoring is the host’s job

Managing the recycle bin and restoring photos is handled by the event’s host.

• If you deleted something by accident, let the host know.
• Ideally as soon as possible, so the restore is still within the retention window.

Tip

Once the retention window ends, photos in the recycle bin are permanently removed. So save important pictures in good time.
